O.k. We also have another battle to play:)
My oldest daughter has been asking to get into the game and has volunteered to be a hostage in a hostage rescue scenario. For those of you who don't know her, she's 9 so there will be a few rules in place here for her safety.
1) You may NOT deliberately shoot the hostage. There will be an exception to this rule, I will cover it in a little bit.
2) You may NOT use the hostage as a meat shield!!!
3) This will be a resurrection battle, and will continue for 1 hour or until the hostage is rescued or killed. Terrorists win if they still hold the hostage at the end of the hour. Counter-terrorists win if they rescue the hostage, or if the hostage escapes and crosses the return line on her own.
4) There will be a return line about 10 feet into the woods from the safety area. for the counter terrorists to win, the hostage must cross this line ALIVE!
5) The hostage will be considered wounded if she receives any hits below the ball of her hip. At this point, to continue to the return line or be recovered by the terrorists, she must hop, be given a shoulder, or be carried! Any other hits on the hostage will be considered fatal.
6) As stated in rule #1, the hostage is not to be targeted, with one exception. If the hostage is taken from her holding point by the counter-terrorists, OR MANAGES TO AFFECT HER OWN ESCAPE, she may be freely targeted once she is 50% of the way back to the return line. Before half way back, the terrorists must attempt to recapture her by killing her rescuers, chasing her down and placing a hand on her shoulder. She may be recaptured at any point, but the attempt MUST be made (as opposed to shooting) before the halfway point.
While the hostage is not a target (most of the time), the hostage will take any incidental fire that hits, so it behooves BOTH SIDES to keep her alive while she is in your custody.
The battle will be considered a draw if the terrorists prevent the hostage from crossing the return line by shooting her.
If the hostage is killed by incidental fire, both sides lose.
7) Spare ammunition or water or anything you might need must be taken out to your res point.
I think we're gonna have a hell of a lot of fun this weekend gang, I hope to see you all there. Bring a friend if you can, remember, the more people we can introduce, the faster our little group will grow. If you know anybody who's got a gun or is interested, bring 'em along:)

I'll be seeing you there. TaxMan, contact me during the week, I have questions for you.
The bomb will be a couple of weeks; I need to get paid first and find the specific parts that I need.

Sadly Hatah's last post reminded me of a previous obligation, so I won't be able to make it. My weapon will be available for use if anybody needs it though.

The new battlefield is at the lemon creek end of the Switzer Loop Trail, though any of us who do or have lived in the lemon creek area will probably know it as "Old Loggins Trail" as it used to be a logging road many years ago.
